Wellness
A commitment to the health and wellbeing of our students is foundational to Saint Andrew’s mission to nurture each one in mind, body, and spirit.
Health and Wellbeing
Our Wellness team’s approach is to promote and enhance student success by working collaboratively with parents, teachers, and outside professionals to ensure our students receive the education and support they need to achieve their highest level of physical, social-emotional, and academic wellbeing.

Nurses and Counselors
Our outstanding nurses are equipped to help students manage acute injuries and ailments while on campus, as well as navigate living with chronic health conditions so as to mitigate the impact those might have on their ability to fully participate in school life. To support our students’ social and emotional wellness, we provide developmentally appropriate programming and curricula within each division to help them learn and practice the skills they need to develop resilience and cope effectively with life’s challenges.
Our school counselors also provide short-term, supportive counseling to students dealing with a variety of issues that may impact their ability to feel their best and perform their best at school. To ensure our students’ academic wellness, our learning specialists provide students with identified and demonstrated needs access to resources and instructional strategies that promote healthy and effective engagement in the learning process. It is this holistic approach to physical, social-emotional, and academic well-being that enables SA to prepare our Scots to be well-balanced individuals, equipped to achieve their own full potential.
